Advanced Art

Topics Covered:

Advanced Art is an independent study class designed for students planning to pursue an art education after high school.   Students are encouraged to explore their own individual creative direction.  This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their art portfolio to meet art college admission requirements.

 

General Class Guidelines:

Students enrolled in this class must  have completed all high school art classes, be highly self-motivated and able to work independently. 

 

Supplies:

All materials are provided.   Readings will be suggested by the instructor.

 

Final Grade Calculations:

This can be either a half year or full year course.  Final grade will be calculated 50% participation and 50% porfolio.

 

Tardy To Class Policy:

Attendance will be recorded at the beginning of each class.  Every third time a student is tardy they will receive one detention.
