FCS District Highlights

The district is committed to providing each student, whether it is an accelerated student or an at-risk child, with the best education possible. Each teacher is granted a very generous budget, which enables our students to access the most up-to-date resources available.  We offer a wide variety of elective classes including AP and college courses for students with various interests.

We’ve been able to provide not only Academic Intervention Services after school hours, but also utilize student study halls for this purpose during the school day.  Extended day allows individual tutoring to take place each week.

We offer up-to-date technology in all classrooms with a broadband internet connection and we have a network manager to provide assistance and support.  FCS technology resources include a dedicated computer lab, business lab, two mobile-wireless labs, as well as one or more computers in each room.

We are very proud of our athletic department.  FCS offers boys’ and girls’ soccer, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, softball, golf and track.

We offer a wide variety of extra-curricular organizations.  At FCS we have band, colorguard, jazz band, chorus, drama club, ski club, Student Council, SADD, forensic team, varsity club, Purple & Gold newspaper, FCCLA, and National Honor Society. All are very active in the school and the community.
