Annex

This early Greek Revival style building was on the west side of Main Street.  It was the first home of the first national bank of Franklin, and for a time held the Post office. It was built in 1890. This was followed by a succession of shops mostly specializing in dry goods including Root and Ingall’s dry goods store. The last store was owned and operated by Robert Peake.
