Franklin CSD Food Services uses Mosaic Point of Sale and MySchoolBucks. MySchoolBucks is a secure online payment service provides a quick and easy way to add money to your student's meal account using a credit/debit card or electronic check. This service allows you to deposit money directly into your child's school meal account and view balance/purchase information for the past ninety days. By having money in each child's account prior to entering the cafeteria, the lunch lines will move along much faster, which gives your child more time to eat and be with friends. You can also view recent purchases, check balances, and set-up low balance alerts for FREE! Click on the link on the right side of this page.

Free and Reduced Application
Breakfast and lunch are FREE to all students regardless of income.
In order to continue this program each school year, we do ask that each household complete the Community Eligibility Provision Application (under "Forms" on the right) and provide it to the school.
Students will still need to pay for extra meals (extra pizza slice, extra hamburger/hot dog, extra sandwich, etc.) and snacks (i.e. cookies, ice cream, chips, Gatorade, etc.).

Why Filling Out the Income Eligibility Form Still Matters
Even though school meals are now free for all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), taking just a few minutes to complete the income eligibility form still makes a big difference. The form was sent out with the school calendar and is also available at this link: Free & Reduced Application
This simple form, online or paper, helps your child’s school in more ways than you might expect. It’s not just about meals.
Here's why your form matters:
School Funding: The data collected helps determine how much state and federal aid your school receives.
Student Support Services: Funding for counselors, intervention staff, and mental health resources often depends on this data.
Programs and Grants: Schools use this information to qualify for after-school programs, technology grants, and more.
Fee Waivers: Students may qualify for reduced or waived fees for things like SAT/ACT testing, college applications, and extracurricular activities.
Even if you don’t think your family qualifies, submitting the form ensures accurate reporting—and could make your school eligible for important funding and programs.
It only takes a few minutes.
All information is confidential and is only used to help your school and community.
Please take the time to fill it out. Every Form Matters!
