2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian


Valedictorian
Franklin Central School is pleased to announce that Adaline Coulter has been named our Class of 2026 Valedictorian. It is with great pride that we recognize Adaline for this achievement and for the hard work she has consistently put into earning this honor. On behalf of everyone at FCS, we congratulate Adaline and her parents, George Coulter and Jena Coulter, on this honor.
Along with her academic accomplishments, Adaline holds the office of Senior Class President, and has participated in Student Council, band, chorus, Drama Club, Art Club, Leaders Club, Ski Club. Adaline has also played soccer, basketball, and softball, and has run track for Franklin.
Adaline’s wide array of academic talents are eclipsed only by her motivation. She is an active volunteer, lending her time to participating in and setting up for various school events. For a time, she was the voice of FCS on our morning announcements, and has helped tutor other students. Academically, Adaline works hard, asks excellent questions, and pushes herself to rise above challenges and difficulty. She seeks educational challenges and eagerly tries new things.
Franklin is so proud of you, Adaline, and we can’t wait to see you take your place in the world! Congratulations!
Salutatorian
Franklin Central School is proud to announce that Irene Cox has been named our Class of 2026 Salutatorian. We are pleased to recognize Irene for the tremendous efforts devoted to her studies. Irene is a bright, adventurous, level-headed, creative, and talented young human who will undoubtedly continue to be a success after graduation. Congratulations to Irene and her parents, Steve and Donna Cox, on this honor.
Irene is a dedicated student who is committed to her studies and interests. Her commitment to excellence, her determination to be a success, and her love for learning are always on display. She plans to study education after high school and currently attends the New Visions Education Program for aspiring teachers. While still focused on academics, Irene has bloomed into a talented singer, songwriter, and musician. You can catch Irene performing her original music with her band, Stone House Station, at local coffee shops.
Aside from her laudable academic achievements, Irene holds the office of Senior Class Vice President and participates in soccer, basketball, ski club, art club, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Irene even traveled to Greece last year as an all-star soccer player.
